The A2 Level element
of the ICT A Level course consists of three modules:

A2 Unit 4 (ICT
4) - Information Systems within Organisations. (written
examination).

A2 Unit 5 (ICT
5) - Information: Policy, Strategy and Systems. (written
examination).

A2 Unit 6 (ICT
6) - The use of Information Systems for problem solving.
(coursework).

The year is divided into 2 parts:
-
Part 1: 16 weeks to January
for Module 4, exam in January. The main portion of the database
coursework.

Part 2: 15 weeks to May for
Module 5, exam in May/June. The continuation and completion of the
database coursework.
