Sources
When
gathering Information you will need to get your facts right.
As
you gather the information you need, make sure you save it using a logical
storage system and sensible file names so that you can find what you need
easily.
Create a
sources table to record details of each source of data and image. Here
is an example of a Sources
Table.doc . (rtf). You
will need to return to the table from time to time to keep it up to date.
Do you already have information you can use? For example, you may be able
to re-use photos or data from other work.
These websites allow you to use some or all of the
images on the site. Make sure that you have permission to use and edit
information from secondary sources. This includes copyright-free images
from websites such as these:

http://www.freeimages.co.uk/
http://www.morguefile.com/
You must read the terms and conditions to make sure
you are using them correctly.
Producing
original information. You will need to use a range of primary sources.
For example, you could take photographs, produce drawings, make sound
recordings. Creating information yourself takes time, so allow plenty
of time for editing.
Save your
completed sources table for your eportfolio.
